Sorry if it seems like I'm being argumentative, but I think that the reason the narrator was speaking over the things that were happening because he was, in fact, the narrator. It was supposed to be have it's funny parts, but if you came looking for a comedy, I don't think you'll like it.

I can see where you're coming from, but I don't think the movie was totally meant to be funny. ermmm the contraptions where sure good though. Doesn't look like I will get the disc but I don't mind now I have seen it and I know I will NEVER see it again.Д®nd on a good note, the effects where good and some of the voice acting was also good but they over used the narrators voice, nearly everything had him talking over it and it just annoyed me, oh yeh got to end on a good note. Lastly, I bought the DVD not long after pre-orders where started and I have yet to receive it and he is ignoring my PMs and emails so I gave up and just downloaded it. Two parts in the whole movie I slightly smiled at because they were unoriginal and just not that funny, where as RVB or a lot of others, keep me laughing and have an ok story which I enjoy much more then this. I just sat though wishing it would just end as nothing existing ever happened and parts of the story were just drawn out for too long.

While I thought it was a well made and quite professional movie for amatures, it just didn't have the flare of others, most machima are pretty short and so keep me engaged to the story, this story (in my opinion of cause) was quite frankly crap. You can find parts one and two at the bottom of the thread. I definitely recommend that all of you guys watch it. The use of humor in the right places, and the use of great music all through the movie was very well done. It was suspenseful, it was (fairly) original, and most important of all, it kept your attention. The story of War of the Servers, while it was definitely similar to War of the Worlds, was definitely very well told. I didn't see any flaws in any of the used effects. There was great use of bloom, fog, explosions, and emitters. The effects used in this movie were excellent. While it wasn't exactly Academy Award worthy acting, it was still convincing enough to keep my attention. All the actors seemed to be under the age of twenty three. The acting in the movie was very mediocre, but that's expected in an amateur movie like this.

I would not have been able to do any of the stuff in this film, being that I'm not that big on Garry's Mod in the first place. There were cool looking forts, tools, contraptions, and skins. They were all very cool looking and definitely spoofy of the movie War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise). The use of complicated contraptions was very well done.

It uses all of the features that were made available in GMod 9.0.4, very well I might add.
